    Oblivion on fx5200 Graphics cards

I have a nvidia geforce fx 5200 with 128 MB ddr in agp. I wanted to try oblivion on it and I was surprised to find that it could be mounted!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oblivion works but with all the minimum specs and a window mode which is still playable (between 5 and 10 fps!) I wanted to ask you if it has capacity for overclocking history to play around with and if there are any fans that I can fit because for the moment it is fanless (passive cooling).

Its my all same damn surprised that it happens to run oblivion! It has already dies running with stalker, test drive unlimited, crysis, Cod4, battelfield 2142.

In fact I would like to know if somebody has succeeded in making a stable and overclocking experience spent at least on a 5900 if possible.

It is useless to advance your story!

You can never make an FX 5200 and also a FX 5900 powerful, and I think more than ridiculous to try to play such games with this card knowing that it will never be playable and you risk more than damage.

I have a good MX4000 and I met while in the max overclock with 364 MHz for the GPU (274 MHz initial) and 381 MHz for the memory (290 MHz initial) passive cooling. So if I were in your place I would have probably overclocked max.

Consider getting a Radeon HD 2600 XT gaming card. If you want high end gaming card, go with either Radeon HD 4850/4870 or Geforce GTX 260/280.

well in place of overclocking and risking damage to the rest of the motherboard components, try getting a better card.
I would suggest hold all your cash for a full upgrade, get 1.5K or less out and get the 7600GT AGP. I can garuntee you that alomost all the latest games will run on it. My friend completeed crysis on a 6600GT... so you can imagine.
And over clocking that one will give you the power to run even Far Cry 2 in medium may be. (Far Cry 2 min requirements even beats crysis min requirement) so you can imagine what a small investment can do for you..

[Offcourse be careful about the power supply requirements. My system blew up because i wanted to run a FX 5200 on a 60 Watt local PSU... So, upgrade or overclock intelligently]
