AGP OR PCI supported Viddeo card?

Hi,
I have msi 939 socket motherboard that has both pci and agp.
What i want to know that what is the best Viodeo Card for me? PCI or AGP supported? I don't have much idea about video cards so please help me out with this.

Hi Samar first let me tel you the difference between AGP & PCI graphics Cards!
AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) cards serve the same purpose as PCI graphics cards. AGP interface has become the more popular choice for PCs. Part of the reason for this is that AGP cards manage memory better than PCI cards. The AGP interface can actually use your computer's standard memory as well as the video memory to help boost video performance. So, if you have an AGP slot in your computer, I'd go with an AGP card. there is not much difference between both the Graphics Cards.

Hey thanks for the quick reply I will go with the AGP slot Graphic Card!
Anything more that i have to take care before purchasing an AGP Graphic Card?

But there are many types of AGP cards with different multipliers and voltages (ie they're not all the same)

You are best to provide your Motherboard Manufacture name and model number, before sourcing a new card.

Also if this is a proprietory computer (like Dell; HP; Acer etc etc) we would require the Brand and model number.
