Well, it already is scaring me
From few days back, occasionally my monitor "flashes", ie the screen is all black for a moment and then resumed the image where it was, and then hung for the same time. I don't know what's going wrong.

Any loose wire that cuts the signal is the most likely or perhaps some malware or garbage on your computer, you have to start from and discard.

Try another monitor and other cables, if the problem still persists let us know.
