    Screen goes dim

I am having ASUS Vintage V3 Desktop Computer System and I am facing monitor problems from quiet some days. Initially it works fine and I can use Windows without any problem. But after about 5-10 minutes, the screen goes dim and I am unable to see anything. I am forced to restart the computer in order to get back to normal state but the problem comes back too in the same way.

I tried adjusting the monitor settings but that didn't solved my problem either.

    Can anyone solve this problem?

Might be the drivers issue. Download and update the latest drivers. If it don't work then check the connection to the monitor or video card (if any).

Check your screensaver and power management settings. Disabling it will affect the monitor functions also.

Also does it still persists if you are in BIOS?

You are then having some settings on power management which is causing this issue. Change it.
