Sample of theater production plan?

I have used Project intermittently through the years, and now need to
create a project plan for a large theater production. Does anyone have
a plan they would share so I could get some ideas? Or is there a good
site that has such samples?

From time to time, people ask for templates or examples of this or that
specific project plan.
You might get lucky but also what you get, if anything, may not be of any
real use to you because all projects are unique.
It may be better to just start it up from scratch.
Someone associated with this theatre production knows what the scope is,
what has to be done, ie knows something about theatre production and this
one in particular.
Just chop it up into Tasks, organise them into a WBS, work out the
Predecessor links, assign the Resources and Costs and ... voila.

There are templates included with MSP and although they are each imperfect
or incomplete in their own way, they do provide some clues about what a
project plan in MSP should look like.
For your purposes, the Residential Construction project is as good as any of
the others.

That seems reasonable - I'll try to just play around and make it work.
On another note - are there any tricks to entering costs and such so
that you can produce a good budget and cash flow? I see those as
reports that can come out, but the report will only be as good as the
data that I put in, so wondering if there are things I should keep in
mind.
