    Difference between Project Standard and Professional

    Is there anyone who can tell me the basic differences between Microsoft Project 2007 Standard and Professional versions. Thanks for any information.

    The answer that you are seeking is very simple. The difference between the Professional versions of Project is that it works with Project Server and then Standard versions of Project doesnt work with same. You can also try to use the professional version that can be also used as standalone. Hope this answers your question.

    The professional edition can be used to connect to the Project Server but with the Standard version of project you will not be able to. Also, since the Professional edition is a standalone application, another difference is its price as well.
