Project 2007 - Resource Calendar

I have Project 2007 that crashes whenever I setup a special "WorkWeek" calendar for a resource. It will sometime crash right away and other times it will take few minutes. When I am using the "Default" line on the "WorkWeek" tab, then Project 2007 will not crash. This same things are happening on 3 different computers and laptops in my office. Can anyone suggest me a fix for this issue? Thanks.

Could you please tell us which version of Project 2007 are you using? Also, did you install the SR1 or not? Are you by any chance using the Project Server?

I am having the Project 2007 Professional and I have installed the SP1 and I am not using the Project Server yet. I am actually working on a Microsoft Project 2007 training course and came across this issue while making slides for using the new resource calendar features. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

You can try to create a new project file and see if that is still crashing. If it is not then I can only think about a corrupt file. Because of the way Project stores files, file fragmentation may be the basic cause. To make sure this isn’t the problem: open your .mpp file then select File/Save immediately before doing any other action. I use MS Project 2007 SP1 and Office 2007 and have had my project crash throughout the day for the last two weeks. My IT department suspects a corrupted file, but it happens on all my files and the only thing I have changed (other than % complete and dates) is adding Vactions to each of my resources. So it sounds like I may have the same problem listed above. Can you tell me if there is a fix? Also, I do not use NIS at this time.

My appologies...I use MS Project 2007 with SP2.

I am having similar problems with Project 2007 as well, SP 2 loaded, Dell Computer. When opening the Resource sheet, Resource Usage or the Resource graph project crashes - every time.

Did anyone discover a fix for this problem??
