I'm not sure what report you are trying to run, but Cumulative Actual Work is not a field available in the standard Resource usage view. If Actual Work is recorded, then Cumulative Work = Actual Work to the status date.

The field Cumulative Work is available in the Resource Usage Cube -- the Resource Work Availability Report can be modified to add Cumulative Work.
