Copying baseline

I need to rebaseline a project. I want to save the original baseline, though. I read in my manuals that I can copy the baseline to one of the other baselines and then set the baseline again. The manuals failed to describe how to copy the baseline, though, and I couldn't figure it out from the dialogue box.
Can anyone tell me how to copy the Baseline into Baseline1?

Which version of Microsoft Project are you using. In Microsoft Project 2007, under Set Baseline choose the Interim action and select Baseline1 in the copy box and Baseline2 in the To box and from the drop downs you select baselines, not interim plans.

Hi mbbackus,

The steps depend upon what version of Project. For Project 2007 Tools > Tracking > Save baseline. In the Interim plan portion, select Baseline in the Copy list -- select Baseline1 in the Into list.

In Project 2010: Project Tab > Set Baseline them the same steps.
