    Decimals in Duration field

    Hi All,

Had to change the Start & Finish fields to "Actual Start" & "Actual Finish". However since I've done that, the Duration field now shows decimals e.g. 2.13 days.

How can I resolve this to show whole numbers (integers) instead?

    Thank you,
    NIRAV

First thing here is that I don’t have more idea regarding the query posted by you but I am still trying my best and I hope that it will help you why don’t you try and copy duration into a custom field and round that with a formula.

    Hi Nirav,
I don't follow. You can't change the Start and Finish fields to Actual Start and Actual Finish. They are separate fields. Can you explain a bit more clearly what you've done?

You may also want to change your View to a date format showing date and time. My guess is that the Actual Start and Actual Finish are not matched with the definition of "day". Go to Tools > Change working time. What is your calendar definition there? Click on the Options button -- what are the settings for default start, default end, hours per day and hours per week.

Usually the only way to get non-rounded durations is to have the default start and end not match the calendar definitions.

    I hope this helps.

    Julie
