    MS Project Formula

    Hi
Im new to project and have no idea how to add a RAG status column. I have seen this type of column in existing plans which I have managed but do not know how to create such a column.
I basically want a column with a drop down list of Red, Amber and Green. When selecting Red from the picklist it displays a red unhappy face, when selecting amber a yellow indifferent face displays and when selecting green a green smiley face appears.
Any ideas on how I can create this? I am new to project and only had basic training so may need to tell me how to creat picklists, formulae etc.

Thanks ever so to those that can help.

Could you please tell us firstwhich version of Microsoft Project you are working with. Graphical indicators function a bit differently between 2003 and 2007.Secondly, I could help you set this up, but I must say that traditionally the RAG Indicators are used to portray status. Traditionally, R (red) means the task or project is off track, or late. If you have a task that shows 20% Complete, what if this task is actually ahead of schedule?
