Resource Graph - Can you view by "group" rather than "resource"

I have set up a project and assigned resources.

These Resources are also members of given groups - assigned in the "resource
sheet" view. For example, Joe Smith is in the group "Human Resources" along
with Bob Jones, and Ann Williams.

I would like to view the resource graph allocation of time by the group
"Human Resources" rather than by each individual person.

Can this be done? Thanks.

RE: Resource Graph - Can you view by "group" rather than "resource"

Hi,

Instead of using the Resource Graph view, you may want to use the "Graphs"
button on the Assign Resources dialog box: From a task view, open the dialog
box (ALT+F10) and select the resources you want to view, then click on Graphs
button.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

I am using MS Project 2000. I don't see this option nor can I find a "graph"
view elsewhere

Hello, I am sorry, the answer I gave you applies to Microsoft Office Project
2007. Maybe you should consider upgrading since, there are a lot of goodies
you are missing.

This should work. I forget the features in 2000, but I don't think they've
changed all that much:
