Can anyone please explain me what it exactly means? |

Well the said error message means that the resource is assigned to more than 8 hours in one or more days on one or more tasks in the project, such as when the resource is assigned to 16 hours of Work in a single day time period. When exactly did you received this error? I mean what were you doing with project? |

I think most probably he would have received this error while leveling, isn’t it Kaysel? If yes, then in the Levelling dialog box, select "Look for over allocation on a" ... select day by day. It may help. |

I have been through this. It is the popup message for the yellow diamongoverallocation indicator in any resource view. |
