Change font color within Gantt bars

I dont know what I am missing exactly but in the Gantt side when I am trying to make some rext that shows inside the bars, I am not able to read them on most colors because the font is black. Can anyone tell me how do change this font color? Thanks for any help in advance.

Using 2007, while you are in the View that you want to change (these changes only apply to the view you are in) go to Format/Text Styles in the menu choose the 'Bar Text -Inside'.

Then you can change the Font, Font style, Size, Underline (check box), Color, Backgroung Color, Background pattern.

You can do the same for all Text styles in the view from that same drop down field in the menu.

You can try to go to Format and then Text Styles and from there you have to select the color of the font that you would like. But there is an alternative that you can also try. When in Format and then Barstyles, the pattern within the bar can be selected to be an outline.

You can also try out the boolean fields to automatically change bar colors. For instance, if you want a blue bar for design tasks, a green bar for manufacture tasks and a purple bar for test tasks, then in the format, barstyles dialog you can setup the bars as:

normal, flag1 (red bar)
normal, flag2 (orange bar)
normal, flag3 (yellow bar)

You will be then able to code the various tasks with the proper flag.
