Project 2007 crashes when trying to open files

Whenever I am trying to open any existing files then MS Project 2007 will crash. When I am trying to make a new file and save it, and then try to open, then it will also crash the software? I have removed and reinstalled Project 2007 but still there isnt any changes and I am gettting same crashing problem. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

Incase you have Norton Internet Security then the problem might occur due to an update of this antivirus. So, the only solution is to disable the Microsoft Office Plugin on Norton. When it is done, then try to launch the Project 2007 again and see if that works.

Have you tried opening up Norton Antivirus and then finding out the option for Real Time Scanning. You can try to disable the same scanning for Microsoft Office Documents and then apply and close. After that you can try to opne the project files without any problems.

Have you troubleshoot damaged documents in Word 2007? You can try to Start Word using default settings by following the below methods. You can use the /a switch to start Word by using only the default settings in Word. When you use the /a switch, Word does not load any add-ins. Additionally, Word does not use your existing Normal.dotm template. Restart Word by using the /a switch.
