    Remove folders from Start Menu

    i was installing application on my computer but computer crash at the end of installation after restart i check the folder in start menu > all program > the program was there means it installed but as i try to start it no response so i decide to uninstalled from start menu but its not possible even i dont found source so i decide to delete it from start menu but i am unable to do so please can some one help me.

    i think you should check this link http://technet.microsoft.com/hi-in/l...03(en-us).aspx instead deleting directly you should remove it by using third party application also use registry cleaner .

    1. Right click on Star t> Properties > Open Start Menu Properties
    2. make sure that you’re at Start Menu tab
    3. select on Customize button for the Start Menu.
    4. In the Customize Start Menu dialog, uncheck the check box for folders that you doesn’t want to appear in Start Menu. Folders that can be removed and hidden from Start Menu by unchecking box click on Don’t display this item radio button individually instead to remove the folder from Start Menu.
    5. Click OK.

    that is due to improper installation of files so just try to install that application again also check this for more help Want To Remove Documents from Start Menu and How to remove Help and Support button from Start Menu
