Facing some problems since last few days with WMP and Media Center. Whenever I try to RIP a CD or opening the file location of Ripped CD, I get an error message saying “Validate My copy of Windows to get Windows Media Player 11.” I dint understood the last part. Why do I get WMP 11 if I already have it on my system?

Did you tried validating it once atleast? That error wants to validate your windows; you should follow the validation step for once and it will save the settings for ever.
