vista and 360 crash

hello everyone , i am new to this so please bear with me .

i have windows vista premium media center . i just bought an xbox360 pretty much just to use it as an extender .

so here is my problem , it says that it is installed fine and dandy but when i try to do anything with the media center on the xbox , my pc stalls . like just freezes .

ever once and a while the blue screen of death comes up and it says BAD POOL CALLER . Or BAD POOL HEADER .

I just need a little help here .
