When I select defrag. I get this error message: Disk defragmenter has detected that chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume (C:). Please run chkdsk /f Does anyone know the solution??  |

My computer now runs the chckdsk on file system C on every boot up. How can I get it back to normal? check disc options/automaticly fix file system errors.it will tell you it cannot. until you restart your computer,I tried this at first and it told me the checkdisk was cancelled.so I unplugged my key board and low and behold it worked.now I can defrag my hard drive. THATS WHY IT KEPT CANCELLING,THE KEYBOARD IS THE KEY. I'M SUCH A GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. |
