Another slow, choppy TV live/playback thread Please Help!

Before, watching live and recorded TV was smooth and flawless on my computer
using Windows Media Center. Now, for some reason, it's very slow and choppy.
I've read the other thread and tried assigning the Automatic type to the
Windows Media Center Service Launcher, but that didn't work. There was also
talk about spacing my TV or Video card separately from something else.
Here's the deal. I have one of these Sony desktops
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...52921644513278
and everything is built in.

Any ideas? I've had problems with Media Center from the first day I bought
my computer, like it would crash every few minutes. Unfortunately I was told
by a Sony rep that with the computer I have, if I want to watch and/or record
TV on my PC, I must only use WMC.

WMC doesn't crash for me anymore, but now watching TV on WMC is so annoying
to watch because of the slowness and choppyness. The audio is fine, it's
just the video.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks :)

Re: Another slow, choppy TV live/playback thread Please Help!

have you tried newer versions/older versions of the video driver? it
is possible that this driver was updated automatically. check device
manager and do a driver rollback for the video card if an older
version is present. please report back.

Hello,

I wasn't sure how to do a rollback that you mentioned but I was just
watching TV on it today and it's working fine again. I didn't do anything
and it's all fixed. I don't know what happened.

Thanks, anyways, for your help! I really appreciate it! This WMC is weird.
