Vista Media Center and Xbox MC Extender

I recently bought a laptop with Vista Media Center, and I was trying to setup
my Xbox to be able to stream/play media from the laptop, however I didn't
have any success. Does the XBox Media Center Extender no longer work with
Vista's Media Center?

The XBox (not 360) will not work as an Extender for Vista Media Center.

You'll need an Xbox 360 or one of the newer v2 Extenders.
