    HELP! - Component Registration Failure

I have a Windows Vista Media Center that all of sudden started giving me the following error message just 2-3 days back:

    COMPONENT REGISTRATION FAILURE
Some of the files needed to play radio or video are missing or corrupt. Windows Media Center component registration may have failed.

    Application Failure
A critical Windows Media Center process has failed. Please restart the computer and try again. If the problem persists, contact your hardware manufacturer for assistance.

This error message displays if I try and list the Recorded TV and when I try and watch live TV then I get:

    Tuner Not Available
The Tuner is currently in use by another application or is not working.
Please close all other applications, restart Windows Media Center, and then try again.

Can anyone help me to solve this error? Thanks

Even I would like to see a solution for this problem. I have purchased a new HP media center pc to replace my previous computer and it happens to have the TV tuner card, so I thought of hooking it upm but it will not work with Windows Vista Media Center. Also, such software issue does not surprise me, because it is the dreaded Windows after all.

Even I was facing similar kind of problem but came with a fix that is discussed in the below link:

I still didnt have the oppurtunity to try it out yet, but it seems to be the right solution for this problem.
