    No eHome Infrared Transcever driver

My MCE remote is not working with my system running windows xp MCE 2005. I have gone through Device Manger and it is listed with a yellow question mark. I have tried searching driver for the eHome Infrared Transceiver but i am not able to find it out anywhere. My system is up to date with all recommended windows update currently, I have tried pointing the updater to WinXP MCE discs but its not picking up the driver. What should i do now? any idea?

I want to know if you are trying to use IR receiver which is built into the nMediaPC box? If i am right, then i will like to inform you that its not compatible with MCE. In order to get it working you will have to connect actual MCE IR receiver via USB to your system. I don't think you will be able to get it working by some other means.

The only thing that has helped me is the attached driver pack. I have tried using it with "Packard bell MCE remote" and it has worked for me. I am not sure if it will work with your MCE remote or not but you can surely give it a try. Just give it a try and let me know it works.
