Code 10 error with Wireless Card

Issue Description: Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Adapter does not work
in Windows XP Media Center and the error message "This device
cannot start (Error Code 10)" appears in the Device Manager for this device.

I have tried two different miniPCI cards with the same results. Also, I
have upgraded the system BIOS, downloaded and installed the latest updates
from Intel. I have also uninstalled the drivers, uninstalled the card,
rebooted the computer and then reinstalled card and drivers with the same
results. Windows detects the card and installs the drivers, but then says
there is a problem with the hardware installation. Device Manager shows the
Code 10 "Device cannot start" error and when I click on the Advanced tab for
the device, it says the "Adapter state not found in registry".

what kind of laptop is this? some have a small hardware switch and
others have a keyboartd combination to turn the hardware on. BTW,
you might have better luck in a dedicated hardware group or checking
with your laptop's support site if it turns out to be something
else.

You have done everything what has been suggested in the following KB

So if it's not a driver issue then it may be a hardware problem.It will
be wise to get it checked by the authorised servicing center.

Try reverting to older drivers for 2200BG.
I solved it by reverting to old Intel 9.0.3.9 driver.
