| Embedding album art using WMP11 for Vista
When I used WMP11 for XP, it was simple to embed album arts just with drag-and-dropping the picture onto the grey album icon. When I did so, the picture was reduced to 200*200 pixels and it was embedded into the file. So when I installed Vista, and copied back my music files to the computer, every album art was available without searching the internet. But now when I drop a picture to the file's icon in the music library, it isn't embedded into the file, so the user of an other account won't see the album art. The same problem occurs when I'm using advanced tag editor. When I click for adding album art and click ok, nothing happens. I open the ATE again, and the album art disappears. How can I solve this issue? |

Do you have read/write permission to the file location? Also, are the files marked as read only? -- Thanks! It may be stupid question, but how can I check it? Sorry, I've already found it.... No, the files aren't marked read only, and I have administrator rights, too. I've experience this problem from time to time also, and think I've just solved it... The image you add in the advanced tag editor--> Pictures tab must be square (i.e. same number of pixels in height and width). It's pretty obnoxious that there's no error handler or notification for such a simple thing, but hey... |
