Crashing - DAZZLE DVC100 vid capture+K8N+Trust

Any clues, suggestions, pointers?

I have a K8N motherboard based system running Windows XP Media Center
Edition. And I have Trust EasyConnect Media Connect Bay CR-3300 Card Reader
unit with USB connector.

Whenever I connect my DAZZLE DVC100 video capture device to the USB
connector of the Trust device and import video from my VHS the following
happens.

In the beginning all goes fine. I can get video visible and recored (I'm
using Windows Movie Maker). Sometimes I can continue a few minutes, sometimes
I can continue up to half an hour or so. But inevitably, at a random moment,
suddenly the screen goes blank and the system reboots.

The information I get when submittng the problem to the Microsoft service is

Any suggestions, how to tackle this? Which software to update (I've got
latest BIOS for K8N already, got latest TRUST driver)
