For additional assistance, click Web Help. I done everything it has asked. I don't where or what to check anymore. I just wan't to allow my Roku network music player. It was all working fine...and puff...no more! I didn't install anything and I've check for virus. Can anyone please help? |

In Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services, check you have all of these services enabled and Started (and set to Start on boot) : Windows media player network sharing services SSDP Discovery Service Universal Plug & Play device host HTTP SSL service Oh - BTW, any chance this PC has been updated from XP to Vista ? Or was it a clean install of Vista... HTH Cheers - Neil ------------------------------------------------ Digital Media MVP : 2004-2007 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/mvpfaqs |

| Having the same problem!
But I'm running XP. I've Rollback WMP back to 9 that my computer came with and then reinstalled everything with no success. How do we fix this? EggHeadCafe.com - .NET Developer Portal of Choice http://www.eggheadcafe.com |

| Awnser to The Question
Simply go to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player and deleting all the files there. Then start up Windows Media Player. Re-specify which folders you want to watch, and let it re-create your library. Then you can start sharing again, and re-register you Xbox 360 as a Media Center Extender.
