XBox 360 Media Center extender Vista driver searching

Hi i'm Maurizio from Italy, i have a Xbox 360 sw updated that with a PC Vista
Ultimate sw updated don't work... i have connected through crossing lan cable
the network adapters, i've set my one live care for connection with xbox 360
extender (i have try without firewall too), i have shared with WMP 11 the
media dirctory with xbox 360, than restarting my xbox and pressing
mediacenter button into xbox menu find the 8 digit code that i put in vista
mediacenter configuration, at this point Vista find a new Hw, "XBox 360 Media
Center extender" and begin to install device but don't find any drver (windws
update and vista ultimate dvd). The configuration of vista media center stop
(into xbox screen said that Windows Mediacenter is configuring....) and i
can't continue. Someone can help me? Thanks bye

What third-party/non-Microsoft software have you installed on this PC? In
particular, have you installed any software for your cellular/mobile phone?

Hi, about xbox360 I don't use any product third-party/non-Microsoft
software... only WMP11 shared folders... in last 3 days I have changed my
mobile phone and I have installed PC suite Nokia software, but after nothing
change about my xbox trouble. I have contact xbox360 customer care and a
technician told me that I need to contact Vista customer care that I need a
software patch for Vista OS, after this patch my extender will work right.
Monday will call Vista Customer care...

It appears that your driver cache is corrupted, which I have seen reports of
happening after installing he phone software you have. I am checking into
possible workarounds.

Update: using System Restore to roll back to a date prior to when you
installed the Nokia software might resolve this.
