Can't load library from memory

I have a windows XP prof. PC. Every time I open up any icons on the desktop
such as "My Documents", "Recycle Bin" etc. there is an error message "Can't
load library from memory" and I cannot find any reference of this error
message any where. Please assist.

I've signed up as i had this same problem. I've solved the problem now by running Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. This program is free to use, and it picked up a few viruses - when i had removed them the problem dissapeared. Hope this helps you.

I have this same problem as well. I have Ad-Aware that is fully up to date
and I still have this problem. I have searched the internet for a solution
but couldn't find one. Does anyone know?

I also have this problem and can't fix with Ad-Aware. If you have solve it,

Ok I have fixed this problem. Apparently it is a trojan that causes this and
for some reason my Norton Antivirus didn't pick up on this. If you have a
file called ipv6mons.dll, delete it. Mine was found at the following location
so yours may be different: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ipv6mons.dll

run a search for ipv6mons.dll and if you have it delete it. Or atleast put
it into your recycling bin so you won't get that annoying message.
