IR Receiver Driver

I’m using Gateway 817GM Media Center Computer. Recently bought a new eHome Infrared Transceiver. When I connected it with this system, I can see windows detected it properly and trying to install drivers but it fails every time. I tried searching for drivers on Microsoft sites but dint found any. I called up Gigabyte for the same but they too are out of help.

Can anyone here please tell me where can I get the required drivers for eHome Infrared Tranceiver? Thank you very much.

Can you tell me what is the OS you have, I mean XP Media Center or Vista and which edition? As far as I know those drivers come with Windows XP MCE.

Thanks for your reply buddy. I’ve Xp Media Center Edition 2005 that came pre-installed as an OEM with this desktop. Gigabyte has named it as Value Edition because Remote and TV Tuner wont come with this system. Also I read somewhere that the drivers come with MCE 2005 edition but due to some reason Gigabyte have stripped them in this operating system.

Any other help please?
