error: windows display driver stopped running

recently I have been getting an error that states:

Windows display driver stopped running -

The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally. Save your work and
reboot the system to restore full display functionality. The next time you
reboot the machine a dialog will be displayed giving you a chance to upload
data about this failure to microsoft.

I usually have to shut down/restart the computer.
I already updated the graphics adapter from the intel site which the
graphics adapter is Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family. I have run a
virus check and there aren't any. I am currently defragmenting my computer.
Is there anything else I can try to stop receiving this error?

I have windows xp media center.
