    STOP 0x00000077 (0xC000000E, 0xC000000E, 0x00000000, 0x00802000)

I am getting a constant stop error on Windows Vista. It also appear when my system is idle. The error is STOP 0x00000077 (0xC000000E, 0xC000000E, 0x00000000, 0x00802000). The error appears constantly after a few minutes when the system is on idle. I am having no idea why I am getting this error constantly. There were very few changes done to the system. There were just some updates which were installed and everything went quiet well. I am sure there will be some way to fix the same.

There is some major hardware failure in your system. You are definitely getting that error on bluescreen. I had faced the issue last time. My ram suddenly stopped working. I was getting screen on my system after using it for sometime. Later on I changed the ram and things went back to normal. In your case as you said that you had performed windows update, you can simply try running system restore. This will revert the old settings.

Some internal system file changes has caused the problem. There are some missing dll or system files which are giving you trouble. You can try to get rid of those updates and avoid installing them back again. Sometime some unwanted updates are cause of the problem. Go in Event Viewer and there are logs where you can find detailed description on the error. You can view that and on that basis you can troubleshoot your problem.
