Are all TV Tuners Compatible?

I have a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 PC at home. I was thinking to buy a Leadtek DTV-1000T PCI Digital Tuner card (almost had the deal) but somebody told me that all TV Tuner cards are not compatible with MCE. Is that true? If yes, than is Leadtek DTV-1000T PCI Digital Tuner compatible with Media Center?

Yes, that is true. Most of the TV Tuners are not compatible with Media Center Editions. You can get the list of compatible cards here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

Usually when you buy any hardware for Media Center, it comes with “Designed for Media Center Edition" logo on it. See if your card has the same. Anyways, here is the list of Media Center compatible TV Tuner Cards I have:
