| IEXPLORE.EXE APPLICATION ERROR
I keep getting and error message that reads: The instruction at "0x01e477770" referenced memory at "0x01e477770". The memory could not be "read". Can someone please help me understand why that keeps coming up and how to fix it. It requires me often to close Internet Explorer when it appears. Thanks. |

Did anyone post a solution? I keep gettin a similar error when closing out of a program. The particular line referenced is "0x068b454d". Happens on multiple computers. Clicking "OK" ends the program and no other harmful effects seem to occur, but it is annoying. Thanks. I'm getting the same message when I try to right click on a desk top icon. The message will read Explorer. EXE-Application Error The instruction at "0x033d415b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be written. Is it a software or hardware problem? "Ray" wrote: > Did anyone post a solution? I keep gettin a similar error when closing out of > a program. I have this same problem with multiple programs. I've seen it happens with: IExplorer.exe, HP00jd07.exe, AcroRd32.exe, hp0sts07.exe, etc... All of these are memory can not be "read" or "written" errors. They cause MCE to stop receiving my TV Signal. Has anyone found a fix? I have a less than 2 month old Toshiba laptop. I am continually getting these errors when using IE7. Once it occurs it contines happening even after closing IE. The only thing that stops it is restarting the computer. It won't happen again until I open IE7. The numbers do change each time the window pops up. What do I do? Do I call Toshiba for help? I shall suggest you to scan your system with Windows Defender first. http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx Look at the Event Viewer to find out error logs. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427 IE news group:- news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general regards, S.Sengupta[MS-MVP] momofmany wrote: > I have a less than 2 month old Toshiba laptop. Thanks for the suggestion. I just did a scan with Windows Defender and it found no unwanted or harmful software. So now what should I do. If I look into the error logs, what do I do with the information I find? Everytime I turn on my computer, I get this message; 'Failed to intialize 0x8001ba. Winows Defender Service Stopped.'
