new digital signal

lost signal for digital channels. I installed digital adapter but it did not work. It caused a freeze. I had Comcast Cable come out but they couldnt help. How do I get digital channels. My TV is analog with a digital cable box, but the box works for only one hookup.

This usually happens due to some obstacle between the TV and the transmitter. Due to which you are facing the issue. Other can be due to any improper service and support in the area. The transformation of an analog signal into digital signal is called scanning. Now it depends on the of your service provider what support you are getting actually for that. Try to check the connection of the receiver.
