Stream from windows 7 to hdtv wirelessly

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible to stream from my windows 7 pc to my hdtv
wirelessly. Now I know of a few ways that allow you to share previously
downloaded material, but what I am looking for is a way to transmit my current
monitor's screen downstairs to my hdtv. For example this would allow me to
stream a video from youtube on an internet browser while it is still finishing its
download. I also have a ps3 if that is of any help.

According to me for any kind of streaming you need the appropriate internet connection and here you want to stream the same from your windows 7 system on the HD TV. So first check whether the wireless router which you are using I appropriate and if it Is ok then I don’t think that you will get any issues what so ever. I hope that you are getting my point.

Yes it is possible, there are two ways. First by with wired connection and second by using wifi connection. In a wired network you have to configure your playstation as an media server. All files will be stored in your media server which can be streamed over the TV. Second you will need a digital dvr box or any kind of wifi media server. Like for example WiDi. This tool will let you to stream videos over hdtv.
