Repaired media center edition with a windows xp professional disc

Hi, I was using windows xp media center edition 2002. I had a virus and my anti-virus deteceted windows files as viruses and deleted them, It didint want to switch on so i repaired it with a windows xp profesional cd. When I install microsoft programs, I get an error message stating that it has not passed the windows logo test, as I install programs such as Windows media player 11, it displays an error message stating that I need to have Windows media center edition 2005 or newer, I cannot even install Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007.I heared about the recovery disc creator, is the any way I can still use it to recover and still use Windows media center edition and is the anywhere I can download it?

You probably will need to reinstall (or do a repair install) with the MCE
disks. XP Pro and MCE are two different Operating Systems and it looks like
(by mixing the files), Windows thinks you have an illegal copy.
