Video Error - Files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly

I’m using Hauppage WinTV PVR2 USB tuner with my Windows Vista SP1 based system. All videos and live TV works fine when I play them in Media Center, but when I try playing the same from Xbox 360, I get an error message saying “Video Error - Files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly.”

I have updated my TV Tuner as well as Video Card drivers, have set MS MPEG-2 audio and Video Decoder as default, there is no other codecs installed on this system, then why the error is occurring? Is there any working solution for this? Please help.

Many of us have had the same problem, and like I posted in another thread, at least for me, it happened when I did the Vista SP1 update...

I was told by Microsoft to rollback, and don't want to, since I don't want to lose any information I have...
