Media Center Receiver Service Error Message

I am constantly receiving the following error message from the Media Center
Receiver Service and although I am able to close the message it keeps coming
back after a few minutes. (Media Center is not running when I get this
message).

Message text:

Media centre receiver service has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

When I check "for more information", the following is provided:

Error signature:
szAppName: ehrecvr.exe
szAppVer: 5.1.2715.3011
szModName: Indiv01.key
szModVer: 11.0.6000.7000
Offset: 000abbfa

I downloaded and installed Media Player 11 yesterday and then started to
receive these error messages, but I am still receiving the messages even
after rolling back Media Player.

I appreciate any thoughts anyone might have as to the cause of these error
messages and what I might do to correct it.

Many thanks.

Are you using the K-Lite Codec Pack? I had the exact same problem and had to
uninstall the pack to get back to normal. YMMV

No, I don't have any codec packs, only Microsoft software and updates.

Re: Media Center Receiver Service Error Message

when did you start getting this error?
what changed? did you install some updates? some new programs?
did you try a system restore to a point before you starting
experiencing this issue?

need a lot more details, please.

Re: Media Center Receiver Service Error Message

This is very frustrating! I have the same error with just a few differences:

szAppName : ehRecvr.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2710.2732
szModName : IndivBox.key szModVer : 11.0.6000.7000 offset : 000b11c9

But the problem is still the same... the little popup window every 30 (If that long). I tried to do a system recovery and that didn't fix it either. So, I am lost as to what to do... because it seems I can't go back far enough in time to correct whatever went wrong... Any helps in ending my frustration would be greatly appreciated....

UPDATE:
This fixed my error message!!!! So happy! Thank you Mr. GeraldLee11! What a blessing not to keep clicking send on those stupid error messages!!! :) Hallelujah!!!
