| MTP Device
Hi, I'm looking for some help with an issue I have with my MP3 device not being recognised by my notebook. I have owned the device for several months and was previously able to successfully download music from my provider, over time though, I noted the tracks were taking longer to download. I decided to use Windows XP Error Check utility to help clean-up the drive, hopefull for better performance. Since the error check, my device is no longer recognised by my notebook and I have not been able to fix the issue, despite assistance from both my music provider and my device manufacturer. So far, I've had no response from my notebook manufacturers user forum. When I attach the device, a pop-up window states 'Found New Hardware - MTP Device', but the Device Manager states 'This device cannot start (Code 10)' and displays a yellow exclamation mark under Portable Devices. I've tried several times to re-install the drivers and I've also re-installed WMP11 twice, but no difference. The device is recognised on other PC's so I'm certain it's not that. Appreciate any help. |
