WMP12 - Video formats supported for transcoding for DLNA "Play To"

I am having a Sony Bravia TV connected with Windows Media Player over DLNA. Now there is an option “Play To”. I want to use this feature but wanted to know which Video formats I can play with this option? Also what will be the Codec, frame size and bit rates? Also I request you guys to please tell me in which format can I re-encode the non-supported files to play on Sony Bravia TV with Play To option?

    Thank you.

As far as I know Windows Media Player 12 can easily transcode the major video formats such as WMV/WMA, AAC, H.264, DivX, VC-1. As far as un supported formats are concerned you should better check the TC Manuals about which format they can play the videos.
