Windows Media Player 11 wont stream in vista home premium

hello one and all.

my wmp11 will not stream any music or video online. i have tried resetting the library and have had no help. does anyone know what i can do it is driving me mad... perhaps something in the registry i dont know.
this happened after my computer lost power due to my own stupidity...
please someone help...

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").

i tried to alter in wmp11 the streaming settings but the settings are correct, i connect via a normal broadband connection and there is nothing wrong with my connection...

You can solve this by going to >
1. start >
2. run >
3. copy and paste this:

regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\wmnetmgr.dll

and click OK.

Now Your windows media player must have no error code : C00D11BB and works fine.
