WMP database corrupt and Library gone

I am facing a constant error with Windows Media Player. I am getting a database corrupt error on my screen. I cannot see any entries in the library. There were songs listed before and suddenly this disappeared. I am not able to find any help to fix this out instantly. I can still see the ratings I had provided to old mp3 songs. so there are chances that I can recover those thing back atleast once. Is there any additional plugin or some stuff available which can help us to fix the isse.

I do not think there is any failsafe way to recover the libraries back. You must look for wmdb file in your system. It is a kind of library file which is responsible of keeping tracks of all files that you had added. You can try upgrading Media Player and then ensure that it works fine or not.
