Windows media player - Error c00d1199

I have Windows XP SP2 installed in my system and when i play movies from a network share or from email attachment in windows Media Player 10 than i get C00D1199 error message. I don't have any issue in playing movies saved locally. I have installed latest codecs but that's not making any difference. What might be wrong? What will i have to do to fix it? Help regarding this will be appreciative, thanks in advance.
