Error C00D1198 - Am Using Windows 2000 Professional

I am trying to watch videos that have been sent to me as attachments in my
email. Everytime I try to watch them I get this message:
Windows Media Player Error Message Help

You've encountered error message C00D1198 while using Windows Media Player.
Additional information is not currently available for this error.

I can't find anything to help me fix this easily (I am not a "computer
person").

I am using Windows Media Player 9 Series for Windows 2000.

PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

If you save them to your hard drive and then play back from there, do they
work?

I ended up signing into my hotmail acct from a different computer and
watching the videos there. The next time I get that error message on my
computer I'll try saving to my harddrive to see if that works. Thanks for
the suggestion! I hope it works. :-)
