Advanced Tag Editor "greyed-out"

I had many songs in windows media player but today i have found half of my songs are displayed as greyed-out in Advanced Tag
Editor. I want to know if there is anything that i can so to get things as they were. I am not sure but i guess this issue started after windows installed some updates.

First try removing the "Read Only" from folders and files restored in Advanced Tag Editor. I am not sure but i think that should help you out, give it a try and post back if that ends your issue, best of luck.

I dont understand what you are trying to say, can you be more specific as to what kind of problem you are facing from? If you are facing the same problem as the Loeb has written then you can either edit them with a different tag editor or convert them to actual MP3 files using your favorite MP3 converter. Didn't say I was facing from a problem "Einstein". Just posting for the next person who might pick up the thread from a search engine, since that is how I found it. However, my issue was the file type, not the attribute.
