cannot get the Sharp G.726 Audio (45) codec to work in WMP 11

I have .asf video files that were created using a Sharp digital camera. I
get an "C00D10D1" Codec missing error. I then down load and run as admin the
"Sharp G.726 Audio (45) " that I am directed to, but it seems to have no
effect

That codec is listed here - does it improve things at all ?

There is no results, but I am not sure I am installing correctly. I download
and "run as Admin" but stillget the same error after opening the file in MP.

For local ASF playback on Vista, the vendor would need to provide a Media
Foundation Transform (MFT). I am not currently aware that Sharp has
provided such: you might want to check with them on this.
