| media player 11 doesn't recognize burner
When I try to burn a disk, media player says 'connect a burner and restart the player'. When I go into options then devices, my burner is recognized and is working ok. The burner works with other programmes like Nero 7, but sometimes its just easier to be able to burn from within media player. Originally i had media player 10 but I updated to media player 11 hoping that would fix the problem - it didn't. Also, I have a 2 month old computer, and I had been using the burner in window media player fine. Then one day it just didn't work !! Help much appreciated, Thanks |

a ps to my plea for help. I've noticed a lot of posts saying they have the same problem of media player not recognizing devices, with a lot having the same specific problem as mine. None of them have had any response. Perhaps microsoft needs to address this issue. "scotty" wrote: > When I try to burn a disk, media player says 'connect a burner and restart > the player'.
