wmp11 final does not recognize zen touch

Hello,
i use a Zen Touch (latest FW) since WMP10.
After installing wmp11 final, wmp does not recognize the player anymore. If
i plug in the player to usb, wmp11 shows on the lower right side the internal
name "myzentouch" for a short time, but nothing else happens.
In the Windows Explorer i can navigate thru the players mediastore so its
working outside wmp11

I could use this player with the betas of wmp11. I even reverted to wmp10
just to see that the player is recognized then.
After reinstalling the wmp11 final i cant sync between wmp11 and the zen
touch.


I run XP Pro SP2 full patched.

Any help?

Could you try the step listed in the Readme, and see if it resolves
your issue ? "Device not recognized after installing Windows Media
Player 11"

thx for your response. I tried nearly every hint i found behind the link u
sent me. But still no success.
WMP11 shows the internal name of my player for some seconds on the lower
right side in the lower bar, but still no way to sync.

Hi Th0u - There are several possible troubleshooting and repair steps
for which I don't have detailed information.

Please can you post your question again to this newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windowsmedia.devices) - I have set a follow-up to
this group, so somebody there may be able to answer more fully.
