Error 80040241 - The source filter for this file could not be loaded

When i try to stream videos from web page than i get "Error 80040241 - The source filter for this file could not be loaded". I don't have any issue in playing those videos after downloading them on my hard drive using media player. However, i am not able to make out why i am getting the mentioned error while streaming the same videos. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling media player but problem still exists.
